Occupy Design is an ongoing project aimed at building visual tools to support the Occupy movement. The project has an emphasis on physical infographic signage and iconography, with the idea that clear, well-designed quantitative information is a more effective argumentative and educational tool than simple talking points and slogans seen on traditional protest signage. The project includes an open designer toolkit so that anyone worldwide can create, share, and print designs using a common visual identity.
The project was featured on GOOD, Mashable, Huffington Post, Grist, and a host of other international media and design outlets, and has received hundreds of international design submissions since launching.
